Hello all. My name is Hamish and I live in Edinburgh Scotland with my wife and two sons.

I enjoy reading and writing on HubPages, it's a lot of fun. I tend to write in bursts. I have the attention span of a gnat - but when I get interested in something I will maybe write two or three hubs, a few articles and a couple of blog posts in a fairly short time span.

I don't really make a great deal of money using HubPages - which is fine as that's not my main aim. I do make money with Amazon - so if you only read one hub of mine then it should be Earning Online With Amazon - and once you've read that one go on and read all the rest!

As I said above, I don't really make a great deal of money on Hubpages - not directly at any rate. However, if I can see that one of my Hubs is doing well, and if it's a topic in which I'm interested (which it will be or I wouldn't have written a Hub in the first place), then I might well go on to create a full blown blog on the subject - and I usually link from my Hub to the blog. As you can see, there's a bit of a footwear theme going on there. FitFlops was so much fun that I even had to do more than one blog - but my wife loves these so much and talks about them all the time - so it's not difficult thinking about what to write.

Feel free to visit the blogs - but the main thing is that, if you find one of your Hubs doing well, then consider making it into a blog of your own - or at least write a few more Hubs on a related topic.

When I'm not Hubbing I like to read. My Kindle Reader is very definitely my favourite gadget - and yes, I have some Hubs on the subject as well.

At the moment I have a Kindle 2.0 and a Kindle 3 - but I shall definitely be treating myself to a nice new Kindle Touch - the very moment that Amazon decides to ship it to the UK that is!
